Buongiorno and hello! Come meet Capri, the newest addition
to the Paint in Italy...2003 family of painting workshop
locations. |
|
|
|
 |
You’ll find this magical island situated in the south of
Italy surrounded by the turquoise and green waters of the
Bay of Naples. Its setting is very unique and very different
from any of the other painting locations we’ve chosen in the
past. And since it’s our aim to provide you with the most
exquisite environments in which to create art, you’ll be
overwhelmed here. |

View from Villa San Michele balcony |
|
| |
|
| The first time you see its shoreline
from the hydrofoil or ferry coming from the mainland
(about a 60-minute ride from either Naples or Sorrento)
you’ll want to whip out your brushes and begin to paint.
Blessed by the gods, Capri beckons, tantalizing your
artist- eye, offering
boundless landscape opportunities. You’ll paint the tempestuous sea, the lighthouse,
the La Piazzetta busy with people, the huge four Faraglioni rocks
(geological formations of various hued limestone
that rises from the sea), the many splendid villas, and
beautiful garden. |

 Sunset in Capri |

When you’re not painting, you’ll visit the famous Blue
Grotto, St. Michele Villa, swim in the hotel’s beautiful pool, or just sit on your balcony watching
amazing sunsets and sunrises. |
